Texas appraisers are required to take 28 continuing education hours every 24 months, including a 7-hour USPAP Update course. OREP Education offers valuable appraiser continuing education to expand your appraisal skills and help you earn more. OREP insureds enjoy a discount on all coursework and packages. Special: OREP insureds enjoy 14 hours of FREE continuing education. This introductory online appraisal continuing education course is a hands-on learning exercise explaining cost approach valuation and the methods included in calculating it. You'll learn ways to estimate depreciation and cost. The appraisal class includes various examples to ensure proper understanding and retention. In the State of Florida, Appraisers must complete 30 hours of approved continuing education every two years by November 30 th of even numbered years (2018, 2020, etc).
